2013 Ford Fusion

Concept 2013 Ford Fusion The new 2013 Ford Fusion will have a huge presence this year in the Blue Oval's SEMA show display. Ford just released four teaser images of some of the custom Fusions that'll make their way to the aftermarket Las Vegas auto show at the end of the month.   The two most exciting Fusions are definitely the Ice Nine Group Fusion 1.6L EcoBoost, and the Tjin Edition Fusion 2.0-liter EcoBoost AWD.

Despite the green Monster Energy livery (it's hard to top Ken Block's), the Ice Nine Fusion is definitely the enthusiast's special of the bunch. Ice Nine took its inspiration from the Aussie V8 Supercar Series and fitted the lowered Fusion with sporty black five-spoke wheels, a new hood, and a huge rear spoiler. The Tjin Edition Ford Fusion, on the other hand, goes for a performance-luxury theme. Outside it gets a reworked front fascia with new LED headlights and foglights, while inside it gets a Katzkin interior and sound system by Scosche. Topping the all-wheel-drive Tjin Edition Fusion off is a Unique Fabrication/Vibrant turbo kit, Magnaflow side-exit exhaust, a Baer big brake kit, and a Pedders coil-over suspension. The other two SEMA special Ford Fusions are built by MRT Performance and 3dCarbon-Air Design. The MRT Performance Fusion uses an all-wheel drive 2.0-liter EcoBoost-powered Fusion as the starting off point, and then adds a black and blue paint scheme, a custom hood, big blue wheels, and an Eco-Flow exhaust.
The 3dCarbon-Air Design Fusion also uses an all-wheel-drive 2.0-liter EcoBoost Fusion fitted with a body kit, but goes after what it calls "the elegant, sophisticated styling of classic European sedans" with its Fusion - something that doesn't sound all too difficult, considering a version of the Fusion will be sold overseas as the Mondeo.
