2013 Chevrolet Spark

2013 Chevrolet Spark Concept Chevrolet wants to make a big impact on the SEMA show with its small car lineup, which includes the 2013 Chevrolet Spark, 2013 Chevrolet Sonic, and 2013 Chevrolet Cruze. While some may be surprised Chevrolet brought to the U.S. the ultra-small Spark, the initial response has been strong, and it's a central player in the automaker's SEMA show presence. Another significant debut is of the Z-Spec brand, a line of aftermarket accessories that will be available for purchase and installation from Chevrolet dealerships. Chevrolet says that the Sonic and Spark Z-Spec concepts could lead to limited-edition production models -- a good idea if the automaker wants to maintain interest levels in the two small cars in the next few years. "The content, colors and performance of each concept is being evaluated for possible production as Chevrolet continues to seek new ways to give customers more choices," said Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet marketing, in a release.

Chevrolet Spark Z-Spec concept Many of the accessories on the Chevrolet Spark Z-Spec concept can be found at Chevrolet dealers, and help bump up the subcompact car's curb appeal, even with the 15-inch concept wheels. Though a Spark with too many aftermarket parts may cost as much as a nicely equipped Sonic, the Spark concept does show what's possible on the car, which probably doesn't have a high profit margin before options and accessories. The full list of parts from Chevrolet:
Chevrolet Accessories ground effects kit (body color)
Chevrolet Accessories Z-spec grille with Carbon Flash-painted surround
Grille surrounds, headlamp housings, fog lamp bezels, belt moldings and rear diffuser painted Dark Argent
Z-Spec body graphics in matte black
Chevrolet Performance licensed front lowering coil-over springs and rear adjustable springs
Concept 15x6-inch split-spoke wheels in Dark Argent with Salsa Red inserts and tire stripes
Lowered ride height
Seats trimmed with Salsa Red inserts
Front door and instrument panel inserts in Salsa Red
Chevrolet Accessories stainless steel pedal covers and sill plates
Chevrolet MyLink color touch screen.
Chevrolet Spark Sinister concept The Spark Sinister concept has a well-coordinated black-with-red exterior and cool bow tie graphics, but it's that huge rear spoiler that catches our attention. The Spark has fender flares and 18-inch wheels, as well as a lowered ride height and a bold body kit. Also at the SEMA show, Chevrolet has a Spark decorated to match participants of The Color Run 5K races, as well as a 'Pink Out' Spark Cancer Awareness concept whose purpose and modifications (pink everywhere you look) are obvious.
